The cruelty of course is the point

Signs of life from the Irish soccer team at last. What a goal the kid scored. Showed even more class as he refused to take the interviewers bait to blow his trumpet post match. The only problem was you knew they needed a second goal and the reality was those boys were there for the taking. Meanwhile we must congratulate the socceroos who qualify for yet another World Cup. Of course it’s all a little easier for these non European countries to qualify and until we see meaningful reform we won’t really be looking at the best in the finals. Anyway, there is a big row on England around sending the asylum seekers to Rwanda. Yes indeed the African bastion of democracy where a million Tutsis were massacred by their blood brothers in 1994. Must have made some progress since. Of course this is really an act of symbolism by the discredited regime in London. As we speak an aeroplane is due to leave with seven migrant for Rwanda at a cost of half a million. As if these people haven’t suffered enough. The cruelty of course is the point. All the brainchild of the vicious thug (whose parents were refugees) who masquerades as Home Secretary. In a functioning democracy she wouldn’t qualify for a job shovelling shit but in Johnson’s Britain she’s a star. In other news the golfers have parted ways as some sign up to the princes trust. Listening to these boys trying to justify Saudi sportwashing is enough to make a grown man cry. I suppose the last straw was when Turkey sent the trial for khasoggis murderers back to the Saudis. If bonesaw was willing to pay mickleson 200m dollars to hit golf balls it’s a reasonable assumption that erdogan must have got at least a billion for his bank account for this little favour. The latest is of course that poor old joe has to go cap in hand to the butcher to ask him to pump another drop of oil. Another nail in the coffin of the American empire which is now in free fall.
Anyway- let the last man out the door put out the light.
