What did ye make of the Solskjaer exit interview?
I watched him closely for the first matches when he got the job and knew straightaway he’d never do. Already at a disadvantage with his boyish looks he also opted for the designer stubble like the players. To cap it off when United scored their first goals he was celebrating like a kid. Dynamite as far as I was concerned. Lacking gravitas and authority by nature the look he should have sought to convey was one of fatherly concern no matter how many goals his team scored. Some might say that the risk of over celebrating never bothered the likes of Mourinho or Klopp but the answer here is that nobody would suggest that those managers wouldn’t look out of place out on the pitch. Anyway he’s well out of it as the job needs a much stronger personality who understands football and more importantly what United stands for.
